ROLLESTON CC ANNUAL REPORT 2014
Following the successes of 2013, it is pleasing this evening to be able to report another year of significant progress and achievement both on and off the pitch.
As far as the playing side is concerned, as match details are readily available on-line, it is not the purpose of this report to give a detailed account of the season, but rather a summary encapsulating the main points and highlights.
Following the victory at Dunstall, the club has reached the finals day of the Brewery Cup, which is now a T20 competition.
The programme for the day, at Trentside CC, is as follows:
10.30 Lullington v Trentside
1.00 Lichfield v Rolleston
The Final should start no later than 4.15.
Best of luck to the team

Captains and officers were appointed for the coming year, the only change from 2013 being in the 3rd XI, where Brett Cobley takes over the vice-captaincy. We wish him well in his role.

Please support this venture and read the fascinating story of the club. Copies are available for £10 - an absolute...
On Saturday as guests of Yorkshire Bank five of our juniors were treated to see the YB40 final at Lords. Lucy Yates was lucky enough to be asked to be the mascot for Nottinghamshire and was seen on Sky TV as the captains tossed up before the game.
The invitation followed the very successful opportunity in July for 20 youngsters to spend an hour being coached by Alastair Cook at the Gateway Centre of Derbyshire County Cricket Club.
The scheme is all part of Yorkshire Banks on-going...
Our Junior players have enjoyed the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity of meeting and being coached by England skipper Alastair Cook.
The event, part of the Yorkshire Bank’s sponsorship of cricket through their “Giving Bat to Cricket” project, took place at Derbyshire CCC on July 4th.
The youngsters were treated to expert batting coaching from the man who has already scored over 7,500 Test runs, becoming the youngest player to pass 7,000 runs in the process.
Cook, in his role as a Yorkshire...
