Taking to the field, Louba continued his fine form, taking 2 wickets, Cobley also made an instant impact, taking 2 of his own. Lawley bowled consistently taking 1, and Monkey finished tidy taking 1 aswell.

Marshy took a wicket with his 1st ball, and Goode followed suit, also taking 1 on his 1st AND 2nd ball. Nelly, struggled to bowl through injury, was very expensive, but Browny pulled it back, taking 2

Cobley and Louba finished their overs, taking a wicket a piece. Goode took 2 more, and Monkey seemed like an animal possessed, taking 4 wickets in 7 balls, taking his 1st 5 wicket haul this seaon, finishing with figures of 5 wickets for -6 runs.

Lawley went wicketless, and Marshy picked up 1. Nelly returned and tidied his figures up, taking 3 wickets in 5 balls, and Browny finished up wicketless

The boys seemed to save their best bowling/fielding performance until the crucial game and put themselves in a great position for maximum points
Lawley and Monkey opened up with the former continuing his fine form with the bat, even striking a 7 and although the pair lost 2 wickets in their final over, still put the boys in a commanding position

Marshy and Cobley teamed up for the first time in a few weeks, and Marshy for the 2nd game in a row, was out 1st ball, and struggled to recover. Cobley at the other end seemed assured and confident, picking up a healthy 19

Goode and Louba continued their fine partnership with the latter hitting another big innings with 27

Browny and Nelly put together a solid partnership and although lost 2 wickets in the final over, still made enough to seal the skin and the full 14 points

With 1 hand on the title, and 1 game remaining (to be played tomorrow), the boys are looking over their shoulders at Hippo, who need big wins in all their remaining games to stand a chance of snatching the title away from them. By this time tomorrow, the boys should know if they are Div 3 champions.
