Junior Section

It's all systems go for the junior section. Fixtures begin this week, with the Under 17s, 15s and 13s getting underway after Sunday's U13 match at Tamworth was cancelled because of the weather.
 
This season, we have set up a formal school-club link agreement with De Ferrers and its partner primary schools under the aegis of the East Staffs School Sport Partnership (part of Sport Across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent).  It is hoped that these closer links with benefit all parties.  The club will be providing coaching and facilities for the schools and aiming to attract more boys and girls to become junior members.
 
Details for junior teams are as follows:
 
Kwik Cricket: age 7 and above.  Practice and tournaments on Friday evenings starting at 5.00 p.m. from April 25th.  Manager: Matt Baxter, tel. 07921 903609

Under 11 hardball.  Practice every Friday from 5.30 p.m.  Matches on Monday evenings.  Manager Nick Goode, tel 07989 557693

There are also cup competitions for most age groups.
